Thank you for choosing By Gibson for the design and/or supply of your new kitchen.

Please be aware that no contract/obligation exists between you, as the customer, and the Company until the relevant monies have been cleared in the specified Bank Account.

Below outlines the key information that you need to be aware of in relation to your new Kitchen.

INITIAL DESIGN & PROPOSAL

We are happy to provide an initial free, no obligation design consultation in your home, subject to your geographical location, which is reliant on the company’s discretion. This is then followed by an initial design proposal based on your brief and an estimate of the kitchen costs.

All designs remain the property of By Gibson Ltd until the order is placed and the deposit paid. All quotations provided prior to placing your order are valid for 28 days.

ORDER REVIEW

Please review your Order and confirm the Design, Quotation and Appliance List are all correct by signing the documents where indicated. Please pay attention to the Cabinets, Worktops and Appliances to ensure they are the correct models, colours and specifications. If any alterations or amendments need to be made, please raise it with us prior to signing.

While we pride ourselves on the quality of our design service, be aware that our 3D visuals will be as accurate as possible but are only intended as indicative artistic impressions and some minor details may differ slightly between the design and the physical product.

If you choose to supply your own existing or new appliances, you must ensure that they fit into the units or space on the Design.

PAYMENT AND PRICING INFORMATION

We accept the following methods of payment:

BACS/Bank Transfer;

Credit/debit card (for payment of deposit only);

A deposit of 20% is payable upon placement of the Order.

A second payment of the remaining 80% is payable at sign-off stage, or prior to commencing production of your Kitchen (whichever is sooner).

Any changes made to the Order once production of the Kitchen has commenced will be chargeable. We cannot accept returns or give refunds after production has commenced. If additional products are required that do not appear on the Order, they will be chargeable.

The cost of electrics, plumbing, plastering, building works, flooring, tiling, painting, installation, lighting, removal of redundant kitchen and/ or the removal of any waste are all not included as standard unless otherwise stated in the Quotation and Order.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

The date of delivery specified is an estimate only. Although By Gibson Ltd will endeavor to meet the estimated delivery date, we will not be held liable for any delay in delivery however caused. Please ensure safe and clear access to your premises for the delivery driver and vehicle. It is advisable to clear a sizable area, with a clean, dry floor for storage of the furniture.

Please check all deliveries on arrival with the driver, and in the unlikely event of any discrepancies, material defects, or damages, do not install. Any such event must be reported to us within 48 Hours

We will not be liable for any material defects, or damages reported after 48 hours, or if any fitting of the affected items has taken place.

SUPPLY ONLY KITCHENS

An experienced installer is required for the fitting of our supply only furniture, and the information required to successfully complete your project will be supplied upon delivery. We will not be liable for any for damages or defects to any of the supplied goods caused by your chosen installer or any Third Party Contractors.

GUARANTEES

We guarantee that all kitchen cabinets supplied by us will be free from material defects and flaws in workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. All other goods and products supplied by us shall be entitled to the benefit of any such warranty or guarantee as it is given by the manufacturer.
